DSPAM has been re-activated.

DSPAM de-activated
During the server upgrade, we intentionally de-activated the DSPAM service in order to simplify the upgrade sequence. However, we failed to mention this in our system notice. We are sorry about that. We will be re-activating DSPAM as soon as possible, but there are a couple of higher priority items that need to be resolved first.
You should be aware that since we recently started using a couple of spam filtering services, the role of DSPAM while still important is not as significant as before.
1pm Tuesday October 7, 2008--
DSPAM is filtering SPAM again but users will have problems recovering and deleting quarantined messages. If you try and deliver or delete any messages in the quarantine all quarantined messages will be deleted.
The quarantine will be fixed in a week. Updates will be posted on VCN's web site at http://www2.vcn.bc.ca/.
1pm Monday January 15, 2007 --
DSPAM is working again,
but rather than quarantining messages in the spam control centre,
the filter will mark spam messages with a [SPAM] tag on the subject line and deliver them on.
This mimics the behaviour of the old filter,
and allows us to adequately test the new filter.
Once we have tested the new filter under full load,
we will change its setting to quarantine messages.
To view your quarantined mail and other parts of your spam control centre, you will need to log in using your VCN username and password.
To prevent other users from accessing your quarantined mail after you are done, close the browser if you are on a public access station.
